What Chalo is
Chalo is a hub listing community events, temples and organisations. We do not run the events listed here, we do not represent the organisations listed here, and a listing is not an endorsement.
Accuracy of listings
Event information is sourced from publicly available data and may not always be accurate or up to date. Dates, times, prices, venues and the events themselves change, and a source is not always updated when they do.
We recommend confirming details directly with event organisers before attending, and particularly before travelling or spending money. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on information on this site.
Tickets and payments
Most listings link to an organiser’s own page or a third-party ticketing platform. Those purchases are between you and that seller under their terms, and we are not party to them.
Where a ticket is bought through Chalo, payment is handled by Stripe. Refunds and entry remain the responsibility of the event organiser.
Accounts
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.
Listing an event
By submitting an event you confirm you are entitled to publish its details and any image you upload. Chalo is family-safe by policy: events involving alcohol, nightlife, gambling, dating or adult content are not accepted, and we may remove any listing at our discretion.
Corrections and removal
If a listing about you or your organisation is wrong, or you would like it taken down, email hello@chalo.au. Corrections are free and we act on them quickly. You do not need an account to ask.
Content and copyright
Chalo lists factual details of events: what, when, where, and how to get tickets. Where a listing was found on another site we link back to it. If you believe material on Chalo infringes your copyright, email us and we will remove it while we look into it.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top shows when they last did. See also our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
